We have combined this expertise to create The Bio-functional Method™.
The BioFunctional Method™ is an anatomy based method of fitness that incorporates functional movement with breath, alignment, and self-awareness to help you strengthen, coordinate, and tone your body while also promoting mental clarity, balance, and ease.
The BioFunctional Method™ consists of three parts:
BioFunctional Basics: Building blocks of strength, mobility, and balance
BioFunctional Integration: Incorporating breath and coordination into movement
BioFunctional Restoration: Restoring your body and nervous system through meditation, achieving personal goals, and self-awareness.
We’re not about the latest fitness trends, counting calories, or having a perfect body.
Instead, we teach you the language of your body. How to listen to it, interpret its needs, and live in harmony with yourself (without living in a gym).
We’re like yin and yang.

I’m a Chiropractor and Eastern Medicine Practitioner with 22 years of experience, and developer of BioFunctional™ Movement.
I used to be a by-the-book chiropractor, but over the years I started becoming curious as to why chiropractic adjustments lasted for some, while others found their adjustments did not last longer than a day.
The solution finally revealed itself. The people that had a positive experience had a fundamental amount of strength and a mind/body connection that the others did not.
Before long, I was teaching and lecturing to small group classes. With time, my practice expanded to group fitness classes that focused on building the fundamental strength, flexibility and coordination our bodies need to stay in alignment. Clients started finding that their chiropractic adjustments held longer, their energy improved, and their home and work life became more enjoyable.
The final piece came with combining the deep insights and natural intuition of Rebecca. She understood the lines and communication of the body from her art, dance and yoga background. We merged our collective experiences and created the work we bring to you.
I’m a certified experienced yoga teacher specializing in alignment and body mechanics, and developer of BioFunctional™ Yoga.
My gifts are my insightfulness, fierce determination, and natural-born teaching abilities. Painting was my first love, followed by yoga and dance. I combined these qualities to create a multifaceted healing program for my clients.
I was never what you would call comfortable in my own skin. In 2008 I started practicing yoga and dance, and I found myself having to face many frustrations about my body and my self-esteem. I strongly believe that exercise and movement should bring you closer to knowing who you are, not make you feel bad about yourself, tired, or burnt out.
Which is why I knew that something needed to change. Despite exercising regularly I was frustrated that my body often felt restricted, weak, and in pain. Not only that, I began noticing that students were coming to my class seeking solutions to the same problems.
I set out to understand the science of movement. I focused on creating exercises to restore balance, strength, and empowerment. I started healing myself and gaining self-confidence. I found I was stronger, more coordinated, and had more energy. My students and clients found this to be true as well.
By learning to move in harmony with my body, I gained freedom, confidence, joy, and a love for myself I didn’t know I could ever feel.
